Rocking Gait Stables was created in 2004 with the purpose of breeding quality Mountain horses for the show ring or trail horses. Over the past few years we have to come to love all mountain horse breeds and are striving to breed for the all around pleasure horse. Our prized mare, Sandy's Jazmine Dancer, has given us three great foals, all with the color, temperament and gait that people love in the mountain horses. Loving color as we do we purchased a spotted stallion with the hopes of him becoming the premiere Spotted Mountain Horse. Battle of Belfast is surely on his way to fulfilling that dream. He is beginning his stallion career in 2008 , please cheer us on when you see us in the show ring. So have a look around our site and see the beautiful horses that live on our farm as well as some other characters that call Rocking Gait Stables their home.
